My client based in Leeds City Centre seeks an experienced Rentals Negotiator.

The successful candidate may have property experience, but not essential. What is, is someone with energy and enthusiasm, someone who is well presented and articulate, with great communication skills. Character and personality more important that qualifications!

Lettings Negotiator responsibilities :

• Answer the phone
• Deal with clients in the office
• Smile (even when on the phone!)
• Registering and maintain applicants with all information required
• Book Viewings and inform current tenants
• Chase feedback viewing feedback and inform Landlord within 48 hours
• Ensuring front office is presentable and clean
• Ensure we have correct/enough keys and fobs
• Chase post valuations for instruction
• Make up property file, both hard copy and Winman
• Send out on the market letter/terms to landlord
• Chase above for return
• Engage in social media
• Be aware of the market and constantly review competition/prices
• Ensure information held, whether on computer files or paper, is correct
• Ensure lettings displays are up-to-date
• Advise landlord of any improvements needed
• Deal with e-mails promptly and within 4 hours
• Ensure referencing forms are complete; take app fee, and create receipt
• Inform landlord of found tenant by phone/letter.
• Ensure landlords and tenants are provided with a high level of service
• Generate new clients and properties to let
• Carry out networking to generate new business
• Develop ideas for business generation
• Check in tenants
• Provide on-going support to landlords and tenants
• Deal with landlords queries
• Match applicants to new/reduced properties and send out details or phone prospective tenants
• Ensure filing is up-to-date
• Maintain hotbox
• Withdraw properties/put back on.
• Check price and details with landlord when property becomes available again
• Meet targets set in relation to lettings
• Carry out viewings
• Ensure all lettings boards are current
• Support sales department when required
