Role overview
Reporting to the General Manager of Finance, this Group Finance Manager will have the responsibility to prepare the Year End Statutory Accounts, including the preparation for review plus the preparation of Board Reporting and Audit Committee Papers. Your day to day responsibilities will be to ensure the accuracy and integrity of business reporting at a consolidated level with analysis and commentaries on all major consolidated management reports. You will ensure that the standard operating procedures for all financial reporting functions are working effectively and are compliant with IFRS.  

Responsibilities

• Lead the half year and year end process to prepare the consolidated financial statements, related analysis and Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee papers
• Lead the preparation of monthly-consolidated management pack including commentary for submission to Board.
• Point of contact from the commercial team relating to the treatment of technical financial issues and capital transactions. 
• Key point of contact for both internal and external auditors
• Lead initiatives in developing systems, improving processes and procedures for financial reporting function efficiency
• Communication with senior executives including Group CFO and the Internal Audit and Risk Committee

Candidate Profile
You are currently CA /CPA qualified with significant experience in ASX corporate financial reporting. You have operated as a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager in a corporate organisation with preferably a Big 4 background. Technically, your skills are strong and you are would be comfortable in hitting the ground running in leading the reporting process for an ASX listed organistion. Your verbal and written communication skills are one of your strengths and you feel confident navigating data in Excel.
