RMS are proud to work in partnership with a leading sheet metal fabrication company based in Ferryhill. We have an exciting new opportunity available for an experienced Tube Processing Machine Setter Operator.
Working on two shift rotation, this person should have experience and knowledge of working on CNC Tube bending machines (ideally BLM) but it is not essential that the experience is with this exact type of machine.
This person must be able to work independently which will include selecting tools, setting of the machine, editing programs and checking parts. The ability to run first parts off and developing blanks to then be proved out on the machine.
Knowledge of working to and understanding engineering drawings is essential in both first and third angle projection. The ability to work unsupervised is required as although in a team of approx. 4 people the individual will be required to work through various jobs without assistance.
