Our client are an acknowledged leader in the design, development and production of a high stability range of pressure sensing products, that utilise a unique and proprietary thin film technology. Based in the North East of England and established in 1999, they have invested heavily to develop its own state of the art thin film production facility and in-house ASIC design technology. The positions involve working within the build, assembly and calibration area. The environment is a clean, spacious factory with a small and friendly workforce.
Job Purpose:
As part of the existing Stores team the position will involve working within the goods inwards/outwards area of the Manufacturing operation and will be a key part of the supply chain process.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
- To Prepare goods for outward transit (including boxing, labelling etc.)
- Picking components for production use.
- Using the ERP system to issue stock.
- Handling stock and moving it to the correct locations (some heavy lifting will be required).
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Partake in regular stock takes.
Other duties:
- To undertake any other duties appropriate to the level of the post, as required.
Essential Candidate Requirements.
- Previous stores experience is essential.
- Highly organised with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Willing to undertake overtime as and when required by the business.
- Ability to carry out heavy lifting.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft office.
- Fantastic communication skills.
Competitive salary of: £15,270k per annum
37.5 hours per week
(Mon-Thurs 8am-4.30pm & Friday 8am-3pm)
