RMS are working as a recruitment agency for a leading manufacturing company. We require Skilled CNC Machinists to work on a temp to perm contract in Sunderland.
Job Description - Skilled CNC Machinists
We are looking to appoint several Skilled CNC Machinists to work in our Sunderland factory in a 3-day weekend shift running from Friday to Sunday.
Candidates must ideally have served a recognised Apprenticeship and have proven experience of machining practices, using various measuring instruments and able to read engineering drawings.
These high calibre Machinists will need to have the competence to be able to set and operate a range of CNC machine tools. They must possess the skills to edit CNC programs and make enhancements to improve the machine performance.
Experience of either sliding or fixed head lathes, such as Sinico, Star or CMZ would be an advantage, as would experience of operating multi axis machine tools.
Working Hours:
Friday 6am to 6pm / Saturday 6am to 6pm / Sunday 6am to 5pm
Workers will be paid for 37 hours.
Candidates must be willing to complete a medical upon receipt of a job offer including a drug and alcohol test.
