RMS are proud to be recruiting for Experienced Wet Spray Painter for our client in the Bishop Auckland area, a leading sheet metal Fabrication company.
Working on a 2 shift rotation, this person must have at least 1 year's experience of working in a wet paint facility, ideally within a factory background. Experience of working to and understanding engineering drawings is desirable but not essential. The ability to work unsupervised is required as although in a team of approx 5 people. The individual will be required to work through various jobs without assistance. Duties will include, selecting paint from stock and preparing both the spray booth and guns for each new job, performing frequent change overs of colour, spraying parts of various size and ensuring paint thickness and gloss levels are correct on finished product. On occasions they may be required to jig up parts ready to paint, masking parts from drawing detail, packing finished parts and general housekeeping duties as and when required.
The rate of pay is £10.56 inclusive of shift allowance working on a 2 shift rotation. Working Hours are Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm/2pm – 10pm
This is a temporary to perm contract for the right person.
