Quality Assurance Engineer Systems and Software (15249858/001) Stevenage, England
A Quality Assurance Engineer with Systems and Software background is required for initial six month contract assignment based in Stevenage Hertfordshire.
Candidate will have worked in the UK defence environment within the last 12 months
Role description;
To work with the Quality Technical Manager to provide Quality Assurance (QA) across the project and functional activities of the Technical Directorate. This role involves planning and assessing activities, then proactively working with the projects and functions to improve processes in order to develop, produce, certify and deliver products more effectively.
Skills/Experience:
• Quality Systems / Software professional experienced in process-based management systems in a design and development environment.
• Knowledge of systems, software architecture and software processes including national and international standards and assurance requirements.
• Engineering Degree, or equivalent, with an understanding of new and appropriate technologies.
• High level communication and interpersonal skills.
• Trained and experienced auditor / assessor.
• A practitioner of current QA problem solving methods (QA Tool Box) is desirable.
