Technical Business Systems Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to work on a contract position with one of our clients located in Miami, FL. This position has the primary responsibility of identifying, documenting and communicating the requirements and direction of new and existing products that meet the market demand and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Work with cross-functional teams to manage products through concept, development, introduction, and revenue attainment
• During concept phase, you will create a product requirements document that defines market, user, and support requirements.
• During development phase you will work closely with Developers and Project Managers to ensure that the customer requirements are being met.
• During the implementation and launch, you will work with other internal departments as needed to ensure all elements of the launch come together to support quick adoption by new and existing customers.
• Participation in industry meetings as needed
• Conduct internal training and/or Quality Assurance as needed
• Contribute to RFP’s as requested
• Work with Sales in the support of customer conversions as needed
• Support vendors and providers as necessary

Qualifications:

• Communication, dynamic, problem solving skills (someone who can initiate conversation with clients, gather requirements and think outside of the box)
• Technical skills (API XML, Web services…)
• Team player, SME “We” (someone who cares about the job, who can work in tandems with the other 10 BAs, who will go the extra mile to help ensure the success of the project)
• Airline/travel background is a plus. Not afraid to wake up at 6AM to jump on a call with customer on the other side of the world, or in a plane to face the customer to gather details/requirements and join forces with coworkers to come up with the best design and solution
• Strong analysis and problem solving skills working in a technical software environment
• Ability to lead and manage conversations with customers to describe system functionality; gather or clarify project requirements
• Experience documenting software requirements and communicating to internal groups
• Airline travel industry experience ***(preferably with an airline or GDS) (ticketing reservation systems)
