Technical Support Engineer – 1^st/2^nd Line – Waterloo – London

Technical Support Engineer required for a small global company to help redesign and improve internal and external systems. You will be responsible for Application Support, design, install bespoke systems that deliver services to UK, European and Middle Eastern customers. You will also be required to support customers by phone, email and in person both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support of bespoke applications.
• Manage, investigate, and resolve service desk incidents and service requests
• Liaising with 3^rd party providers and vendors to deliver service and resolve problems with their product and services
• Participate in customer support meetings and present at customer training sessions
• Work in co-operation with the Forecasting Team to ensure the delivery of our forecasts and

Services

• Respond to enquiries from users and help them resolve hardware or software problems.
• Work closely with the Technical Support Manager

• Knowledge of networking protocols
• Knowledge of database design and query concepts
• Knowledge of C based programming languages

• Highly fluent in English, with strong writing, verbal and presentation skills
• Experience working in a support team
• Familiarity with PowerShell/Windows command line interfaces and the Microsoft Office suite

My client is offering a salary within a range of £25-35,000 for this position of depending on your experience
