We are currently looking for a Logistics Base Logistics Specialist with proven experience in the Oil and Gas Industry under the following conditions.
Work Location : Abu Dhabi
Type of Assignment : Contract Hire
Contract Duration : 1 year extendable
Work Schedule : Rotation is 28 ON/28 OFF (Off-days are unpaid)
Working Hours : 12 hours per day
Rotational Tickets : Rotational Tickets will be provided during rotations (6 times a year)
Position Primary Objective
The job holder is expected to manage JEL logistics activities at/from/to logistics base and civil works at logistics base, crew camp and marine loading point (small ramp/jetty, pontoon/pier etc.), perform stock and inventory management, logistics/civil works cost control, necessary recording and reporting through required coordination with JEL drilling and logistics teams, contractors, authorities, regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
This job is designed as a rotational position (4 weeks on duty/off duty, 12 hours working at site/12 hours rest at site or in town), but the shift pattern will be decided after finalizing crew change plan and manpower plan.
Skills and Experience requirements
- Qualifications University graduate or equivalent
- ADNOC EXPERIENCE MANDATORY
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas Company in Abu Dhabi.
- Ability to identify, analyze and resolve complex problems and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Full understanding of HSE importance in planning and executing projects.
- Full understanding of the importance of the compliance to laws and regulations, INPEX Corporate and JEL rules in planning and executing projects.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good inter-personnel skills.
- Proactive approach.
- Ability to work within a multicultural environment.
- Good written and spoken English language skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage JEL logistics activities at/from/to logistics base including but not limited to the land and marine rig move of a land rig, other movements of equipment, materials and personnel and other associated services through required coordination with JEL drilling and logistics teams, contractors, authorities, regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
- Manage civil works for the preparation of logistics base, crew camp and marine loading point (small ramp/jetty, pontoon/pier etc.) and other associated services through required coordination.
- Perform stock and inventory management, logistics/civil works cost control, necessary recording and reporting (e.g. daily stock and inventory report, daily cost report, logistics plan and 14 days overlook, cargo manifest and delivery/acceptance/loading notes, other necessary reporting to authorities, regulatory bodies and stakeholders etc.) through required coordination.
- Closely monitor the progress of logistics and civil works activities and guide them to improve their performance in efficiency and quality.
- Ensure the compliance to all applicable laws and regulations, INPEX Corporate and JEL rules while meeting with business and operational requirements.
