Work schedule: 6 days/week

Working hours: 8 hours/day

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish control systems and monitor project performance in the areas of cost control provide advice as necessary to make certain company’s objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinate project change control system.  Review and endorse all Project Management of Change Requests, and contractor change orders / variation requests.
  • Coordinate input for the project into the overall Work, Program and Budget.
  • Ensure alignment between the project controls, procurement and contracting functions; ensure alignment with the NFE Offshore project functional counterparts, other project functional groups, and management.
  • Provide cost estimating support to the project team for preparation change orders, review of change orders, etc.
  • Coordinate project reporting process, including monthly, weekly, and ad hoc reporting requirements.
  • Develop Bid Evaluation Plans, Procedures and Models for evaluating Technical Bid and Price Bids
  • Manage the global contractual daily requirements and reporting of claim and variation progress
  • Support NFE Offshore management team in handling major change orders and claims and negotiations with EPC contractors
  • Works on large capital expenditure projects in a highly dynamic team environment that has tight-deadlines, high pressure and visibility, requiring accuracy, initiative and the ability to multi-task as essential skills.
  • Interfaces with various project teams and departments on resolving related issues that requires effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration. 
  • Interacts effectively with QG management and external stakeholders, including statutory auditors, shareholder auditors and other entities to discuss project practices and issues.
  • Exhibits team coordination skills, integrity, self-confidence, fairness.
  • Supports development and mentoring of the staff.
  • Works independently within established procedures, plans and budgets and contributes to the development of these
  • Has autonomy over scheduling and planning of own work; organizes efforts of work group to achieve overall efficiency. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in technical field of study (Finanical / Engineering degree preferred)
  • Understanding of Project Finance, WP&B and budgeting.
  • Good understanding of contract management including development of tender packages
  • Working knowledge of engineering and or services/consultancy practices in oil and gas industry.
  • Knowledge of practices, processes and expectations with respect to project controls
