International Compensation consultant

Location:  South East
Salary:  GBP50000 - GBP55000 per annum + Excellent

The main purpose of this role is to be a strategic compensation partner and manage the European and Asia Pacific remuneration supporting pay for performance philosophy.  Ensure the integrity of compensation programs and practices across Europe and Asia Pacific.



Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Corporate Compensation & HRIS (based in the US), you will:



  • Guide, direct and monitor European and Asia Pacific pay practices to ensure consistency with global standards, competitiveness and compliance in local markets.

  • Be seen as the expert in compensation matters across Europe and Asia Pacific

  • Participation in global and regional project teams

  • Use strong communication skills to drive understanding of pay practices among both HR business partners and the business overall

  • Provide advanced coaching, consulting and facilitation to HR business partners and to create broad understanding of compensation philosophies, practices and administration

  • Able to understand and manage very large volumes of data with detail and accuracy

  • Administer annual incentive and salary planning in cooperation with US Global Compensation across assigned regions including participation in compensation planning system testing, management of all employee communications for assigned countries, and development and deployment of ad hoc reports as needed

  • Ensure the consistency of salary band administration and job leveling by approving and / or undertaking job evaluations and coordinating with global compensation

  • Manage the annual salary survey data submission process, including tracking resources, budget and maintaining a market data library

  • Ensure validity of survey submission through partnership with HR business partners

  • Conduct annual benchmarking analysis

  • Participate in creating recommendations for salary structure movement for assigned regions
