We are on the hunt for a Sales Manager/Branch Manager/Area Sales Manager in CRAWLEY to work for a Global Electrical Distributor who have been around since the 60’s! They are an exciting Multi-billion pound turnover business. Salary: £50k-£60k OTE £70K With a company car or car allowance.

Basics on the role:

•We are after a Branch Manager/ Sales Manager to look after a Depot in Crawley. You will be Branch/Office based however will be covering around the M23 when you need to go on client meetings.
•80% Account Management
•20% New Business
•You will have around 200 accounts in your Branch with Field Sales, Telesales, and Trade sales executives to look after and manage. (25 staff)
•Territory: CRAWLEY – M23
•As Branch Sales Manager you will look at the business strategically, as it has potential to quickly grow to a £8 million+ turnover and 25+ employees.
•You will grow the business strategically and increase the performance of your team
•You must have experience in dealing with a P and L.
•We need at least 2-3 B2B SALES MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE – We can’t just consider a really successful sales professional, management experience is important

Details on the role:

•Formulate a strategic and tactical business plan for their branch, and convert this into profitable business performance.
•Translate the value and service proposition for the area allocated accounts into a practical implementation plan specific to the branch and ensure its achievement.
•Implement, for their branch, the agreed customer service plan for nominated accounts and ensure it is in place and working effectively.
•Ensure, for their branch, the agreed level of service for all segment business development targets.
•Monitor and take appropriate action to ensure their branch achieves sales/profitability targets, service KPIs and fully complies with standard operating procedures.
•Provide account management for the nominated accounts, which will include the implementation of the development plan.
•Contribute to the effective operation of the business through active collaboration in activities required as a member of the area management team.
