Data Analyst – Asset / Investment Management / Distribution
My client, a leading financial services organisation based in the City, are looking for a Data Analyst to join their Commercial Analytics team on an initial 6 month contract paying up to £650/day.
The role holder will be responsible for providing analytical reporting for budgeting, forecasting and commission purposes and support the wider business group. Additionally, the role will provide opportunities to contribute to several strategic development projects geared towards providing a 1st class management information service.
You will work closely with the business to analyse sales person commission data and sales planning, as well as forecasting and supporting with analytics and reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of their analytical capability to support the sales planning process and UK Wholesale and Retail team’s strategy, working closely with various stakeholders across the business to drive efficiencies, monitor the performance of the teams and enhance their understanding of client/product trends and profitability.
Key skills and experience required:
• Advanced Excel user/Data Manipulation background
• Experience working in a buy-side institution
• Recent experience within Distribution (sales data)
• Asset management
• Prior experience of dealing with heavy data loads
