The Role: As a Business Development Manager you will be a natural Hunter and love the thrill of the sale. Through your experience you will have a good understanding of business to business sales and have experience in selling products and services, most importantly you will have the ability to solution sell through full understanding of your clients business model. Internally you will be supported by two internal sales team members who will assist in the generation of new leads and appointments, however you will be expected to generate your own leads and appointments.
The role is diverse and you will manage your own diary and have full autonomy on the sectors you target and the service you offer, as this can be tailor made to each client. In addition you will be the eyes of the business, looking at competitors and their product offering, also internally looking at the service provided and identifying areas for growth and expansion.
The Person: You will have a proven track record in sales and new business generation. Your experience will of found you dealing in a business capacity with both private and public sector organizations. Through your experience you will have an understanding of marketing and how business structure their sales and marketing. The ability to envisage how to help a business and shape a project is key to this role.
