Financial – Effective Cost Management
To ensure the department and PS&DS project expenditure is within the approved budget.
2. Customer/Stakeholders relationship
Establish good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders as well as
manage their expectation.
3. Internal process – Effective project Management & Operational Excellence
3.1 Power Supply & Distribution System
a. To ensure contractor deliver the Traction Power Supply & Distribution System work
package within the specified time, quality, cost and safety as required under the contract.
b. To ensure the Traction Power Supply & Distribution System work package to integrate
with other WPC in accordance with the contract requirement and to minimize conflict.
c. To ensure the Traction Power Supply & Distribution System work package is performed
in accordance with the project schedule in line with the schedule of milestones.
d. To initiate meetings or discussions with the relevant local authorities such as TNB,
Energy Commission, DBKL and etc. in order to resolve issues raised i.e. technical or
non-technical.
e. To ensure the Industrial Collaboration Program being implemented as required by
Government (TDA).
f. To ensure all PS&DS system testing (i.e. FAI, FAT, SAT, SIT) and other relevant type
of tests comply with the specified performance specification under the contract.
3.2 Operation Interface
a. To ensure contractor deliver the best-in-class standard of passenger operation services
for CCL.
b. To monitor contractor in managing the overall integration of OMPDs from WPC to
ensure operational interface issues of various functional system are being addressed.
c. To ensure contractor develop the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) strategies and
manuals (i.e. equipment & training manual) as well as conduct/organize training for
Operator key instructor.
d. To ensure contractor develop the operation safety rules, operation procedures and work
instruction for Operator, taking into consideration the rules and procedures used in SBK
and SSP Line as to maintain consistency.
e. To ensure contractor develop the operation readiness plan, trial operation program with
relevant test case for the Operator to implement the trial operation.
f. To ensure contractor establish the migration strategy and provide interface management
between Operator, Contractor and MRT at migration section
4. Learning & Growth
To formulae training and technical development program to enhance staff technical knowhow and work skills for them to work effective and efficiently to meet job requirement
