The job holder is accountable for the following activities during CLIENTBatch 1 Topsides Contract execution:

• To implement the Major Project Quality Management System at Project level,
• To ensure the performance of the Contractor, Subcontractors and Vendors is achieving the Project Quality requirements,
• To coordinate all Quality Control activities,
• To implement the CLIENT Technical Referential and applicable local and international codes.
• To insure that Quality requirements are well established and implemented by the Contractor during detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, transportation and offshore installation works.
• To assist other technical disciplines in the implementation of Quality Requirements.
• The CLIENTBatch 1 Topsides QA/QC Coordinator has an Hierarchical Link to the Topsides Package CSR and to the Head Projects QA/QC. He/she has a Functional Link to ClientWelding Engineer and others Technical Specialists for all technical matters involving quality control activities.

ACTIVITIES

• To review and approved the Quality Documentation issued by the Contractor, Subcontractors and Vendors.
• To implement the QC activities based on the criticality assessment.
• Coordinate the Surveillance activities through the supply chain.
• Coordinate the QC activities during construction at Contractor yard and during Offshore Hook-up,
• Participate in the establishment and implementation of a suitable Audit Program to cover Contractor, Subcontractors and Vendors main critical processes.
• Implement continual improvement processes, (Reporting, KPI, Lessons Learned, Close Out Report).
• Issue or review Contractor Non Conformance reports and validate dispositions. Intervene as necessary where warranted.
• Review and approved the material certificates.
• Review and approved the different inspection reports issued by the Contractor.
• Witness inspection activities based on the Quality Control Plan (ITP).
• Be the focal point for the Major Projects Welding Engineer.
• Ensure that verification activities by the Certifying Authority are in line with Contract requirement.
• Ensure that CTR’s personnel are qualified for the task they’ve been assigned to
• Ensure that material traceability system is maintained throughout the fabrication process
• Manage all Company quality inspections related to welding and NDT activity.
• Participate in the weekly meeting and in the issuance of weekly report and KPIs.
• In coordination with Head Projects QA/QC, participate in Contractor investigations of significant Quality failures. Ensure proper root cause analysis of Contractor Quality failures is undertaken, and conclusions are reached and corrective actions undertaken.
• Review and validate manufacturing records books.
