Corporate VP, Strategic Marketing/Market & Consumer Engagement (7248BR) New York, New York

Corporate VP Strategic Marketing role will report directly into the VP of Marketing & Consumer Engagement for the Marketing & Communication Division within the Insurance Organization. This position opportunity will be Marketing Generalist to fill a key leadership position within a large-scale, strategic corporate initiative to improve overall customer experience.

This role is located in the corporate headquarters of New York City.

Primary Essential Accountabilities:

•Provides strategic oversight for the cross-functional implementation of new business tools, processes and governance structure to facilitate improved customer experience.
•Leads a cross-functional team in identifying strategic needs and setting implementation priorities.
•Plans, schedules and monitors work plans for assigned team members to meet initiative objectives and complete assigned projects.
•Takes hands-on approach to define and deliver milestone achievements
•Able to simplify complex challenges and effectively prioritize (i.e. separate essential next steps from potential future next steps)
•Manages an outside consulting agency to leverage their technical and operational experience for the benefit of the larger strategic initiative
•Thinks innovatively to improve collaboration and decision-making across functions and departments
•Facilitates decision-making and input from business and technology specialists to align project decisions with business needs
•Identifies opportunities for greater operational efficiency, accelerated learning and faster implementation
•Evaluates processes, resources and governance structure to ensure progress
•Works with leaders across business areas to assure a smooth transition from high level design to project development.
•Establishes team goals and targets
•Reviews completed work for adherence to standards, reusability and modernization.
•Identifies and plans resources to meet project demands
•Establishes culture around effective communication and decision-making across the initiative working team
•Coordinate a cross-functional team of up to 20 people.
•Frequent oral and written communications with Company employees and with people outside Company (e.g., equipment/software vendors).

Essential Requirements and Experience:

Functional Knowledge
•Five plus years of relevant experience in Marketing within Insurance /Finance Industry preferred
•Bachelors degree required

Technical Expertise

•Requires in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in Marketing Product to help develop the solutions for current/future client needs.
•Basic understanding of the Insurance Organization businesses and the products sold within Insurance Industry.

Product Solving

•Analytical/ Strategic thinkers with a deep understanding of Marketing Campaigns. Analyzing data, evaluating financial risks of current/future Client Marketing needs.
•Ability to think outside the box - to find innovative and creative solutions to complex business problems
