Senior Air Regulatory Expert-Oil/Gas/Petrochemical (11577BR) Houston, Texas
As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:
-Working within our Environmental Air and Climate discipline group as well as performing compliance duties for Oil & Gas exploration/production, Chemical and Petrochemical companies.
-Independently deciding on engineering/scientific problem and methods.
-Actively participating or assisting in new business development by contributing to strategic planning, marketing, and business operations planning.
-Developing and evaluating plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities to be carried out by others.
-Assessing the feasibility and soundness of proposed evaluation tests, products, or equipment, when necessary data are insufficient or confirmation by testing is advisable.
A successful CDM Smith candidate will have:
-7 - 10 minimum years of relevant experience since B.S.
-Certification and/or Master's degree in specialty field required.
-Air permitting, regulatory assessment and applicability, agency communications and negotiations, incident response, compliance management/reporting/auditing experience required.
-Background in Oil & Gas, Chemical, and/or Petrochemical development or process industry operations management, engineering supervision, technical services, and process/equipment design is preferred.
