Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work with little or no supervision. 3+ years of experience working with industrial electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repair work required. Technical skills and experience: Experience should include working with AC motors and the drives and circuits which power them, the ability to do electronic drive start-up, commissioning, tuning, and parameterization, and the ability to perform programming for PLCs and HMIs. Must be proficient with AC and DC control circuits, sensors, switches, relays, timers, and fusing. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read and draw CAD electrical schematics. Proficiency in operating general maintenance equipment such as lathes, mills, etc. required. General skills: Capacity to address several issues or problems simultaneously. Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical functions. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Must be able to lift, push, and pull heavy objects. Must be able to stoop, kneel, and bend to repair equipment.
