Wireless Video Technisican needed. 


Will be responsible for the designing and deploying a wireless video network and integration with the client's video system platform. The role will entail day to day tasks including meeting with vendors and private partners to design and implement, assist with system configuration, operation of video content management system, documentation, and knowledge transfer. Candidate must be able to provide customer support to business units and be willing to work directly with application teams during project development.

Duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

Work with vendors, private partners, to design and implement varied network designs to support the delivery of video from a variety of sources. The sources may include wireless and fixed cameras, either internal or external to the customers network.
Maintain design and as-built documents detailing solutions for software/hardware, user processes and mechanical operation.
Test/troubleshoot Digital Video Recorders, CCTV cameras, IP Encoders, Network Switches and Routers to ensure level of quality for video feeds meets customer expectations.
Work with the Synectics Synergy Video Management System to collect, retrieve, mark, and store video.Position Requires:
Minimum 4 year degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience;
Understanding Data Networks Functionality & Technologies
Understanding video technology and functionality to include H.264 encoding, multicast, and unicast.
Ability to troubleshoot network communications and devices including router issues, layer 3 switch configuration and provide traffic analysis.
Troubleshooting skills both for software/hardware, user processes and mechanical operation.
Knowledge of basic inter-networking operations and protocols, with a demonstrated ability to oversee advanced networking projects.
Plan and implementations of data network technology
Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems
Install, configure and maintain network services & equipment
Monitor network systems for performance
Ability to learn new data technologies
Knowledge of advanced IP networks
CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ or other certification
Working knowledge of 2.4GHz, 4.9GHz, 5GHz, RF spectrums, security, and encryption
Network administration experience
Knowledge of CCTV Industry (CCTV Cameras, DVRs, Sensors, Relays, etc)
Knowledge of electrical wiring, proper grounding, etc
Production support experience in a 7x24 environment.
Excellent analytical skills;
Must be able to work in a team environment;
Must be organized and have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
Effective communication skills critical, both written and oral.
Energetic and self motivated team player with ability to work effectively and cooperatively with project and infrastructure teams.
