Please note: this is a 3 months contract to hire position - candidates must be willing and able to convert to a full time permanent employee with my client - salary is negotiable but client is targeting the 60-65k per year range

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop business reports from data warehouse
Analyze data and work on solving data discrepancies
Working with development team to optimize queries and help in operations
Write reports based cube and warehouse data
Deliver ad-hoc and portal reports
Gather requirements and document
Strong in Excel and familiar with Access database

Required Qualifications:
2+ years experience with MS SQL Server 2005 /2008
Knowledge of various RDBMS and data reporting products
2+ years experience with SSRS and SSAS
Very good understanding of relational and multi-dimensional data model
Experience with any Source control tool such as Visual SourceSafe
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent documentation and organizational skills
Good business analysis and requirement gathering skill is desired
Working knowledge of any dashboard and scorecard product is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL or other RDBMS is desirable
Microsoft SharePoint Sever
Programming knowledge of Java, C# or VB.Net is useful
Working knowledge of any CRM system
Understand the concept of BI dashboards
Building data mining structures and building KPI
