1) Degree in Mechanical, Structural or Industrial Engineering
OR 3-5 years job experience in design and engineering without a degree.
2) Experience in lifting equipment and material handling/related equipment is preferable.
3) Able to perform basic static stress calculations is a must.
4) Knowledgeable in ASME and BTH-1 specifications.
5) Knowledgeable in fabricating, especially with steel and aluminum.
6) Able to take rough sketches and produce designed products.
7) Able to understand construction prints.
8) AutoCad drafting is a must.
9) SolidWorks Modeling is a plus.
10) Finite Element Analysis within SolidWorks is a plus.
