Position Summary:

This position provides leadership on recruitment philosophy, strategy, design, and overall operational accountability of the Resourcing / Recruiting operation in North America. The successful candidate will drive compliance within best-in-class HR processes that are simple to execute and scalable for sustainability. Strong collaboration with counterparts and business partners is essential for success
The role must supervise, guide and coach the Resourcing / Recruiting team to deliver the needs of the business while maintaining compliance, growing the core of organizational capability and implementing tools for greater efficiency & effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, and implement strategic recruitment plans and support initiatives to build the overall talent acquisition process & quality of hiring.
• Execute university hiring, and associated programming.
• Partner with Employer Brand Expertise team to develop and implement a recruiting communications media plan (traditional and social media) to communicate Unilever as an employer of choice and highlight employer brand.
• Ensure compliance with all local government laws and regulations, including regular audits and updates.
• Ensure appropriate use of metrics to gauge recruiting status including cost per hire, hiring cycle time, quality of hire, turnover, competitive hiring measures, and new hire engagement measures.
• Develop and maintain sources and pipelines of diverse and veteran talent.
• Select, appoint, and manage third party vendors and agencies; manage supplier relationships; and ensure vendor performance metrics are appropriate and monitored globally


•Key Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience with market-relevant Applicant Tracking Systems (Taleo) and Candidate Relationship Management tools (i.e. Avature) & Core HR Systems (Workday)
• Experience with social & digital recruitment tools & methods
• Deep knowledge and understanding of local and federal regulations relative to hiring and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP),and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
• Outstanding communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
• Advancing screening and interviewing skills.
• Proven success in diversity and veteran outreach efforts.
• Experience with job/organizational analysis, competency modeling, surveys, and measurement tools.
• Proven ability to drive search firms and internal leaders to sound decisions on top talent.

Key Requirements: Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
• Ten years of increasing HR responsibility and leadership experience with clear career progression and direct work experience in the areas of recruiting.
• Two years leading functional processes around talent acquisition.
• Broad experience with full spectrum of recruitment, University through executive

Work hours Monday to Friday 8a-5p.m. with flexibility to work earlier/later as needed
