SUMMARY

The Senior Web Platforms Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and implementing web marketing strategies to increase sales and revenue for Kia Motors America in a high speed, high visibility environment. The Senior Web Platforms Marketing Manager will also be responsible for the launch activities of new vehicles, branding, Computer Generated Image (CGI) assets development, increasing lead generation, support for cross-functional departments, and quality of website traffic through the natural optimization of mobile, tablet, desktop sites and mobile applications.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY

  • Overall Responsibility of Managing Kia Web Platforms and Kia’s Web Agency
  • Lead HISNA’s (Kia’s IT) Kia web team to Set Priorities and Manage Resources
  • Manage the development of Computer Generated Images (CGI) for use in Photo, Video, and Simulation Assets
  • Report Ongoing Web Activities and Metrics to Upper Management
  • Budget/ROI Management


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Masters Degree a plus

Overall Related Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in web marketing management role
  • 1-2 years experience in the Auto Industry

Directly Related Experience:

  • Must have a deep understanding of website best practices
  • 2 years experience in mobile marketing
  • 1 year of analytics; Omniture Site Catalyst experience a plus
  • Experience in leading a web site redesign preferred
  • Solid understanding of web technology, web infrastructure and applications
  • Solid understanding of web design and user experience
  • Solid understanding for web analytics and search engine optimization
  • Solid understanding of SEO practices
  • Understanding of the overall digital marketing ecosystem

  • Strong project management skills

  • Proactive and entrepreneurial leadership style
  • PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Social Networking properties
  • Knowledge of Mobile tools
