Application Architect  - eCommerce / retail / web - nr Blackburn, North Manchester

Application Architect sought by this highly succesfull eCommerce retail organisation, to help in their business systems transformation programme in creating a highly innovative IT Applications strategy and systems architectural road map. Working on leading a team driving through new and emergent Application based technologies, this is an excellent opportunity to really make a difference, working alongside key organisational stakeholders and experienced IT teams 

Accountabilities include leading the creation and development of the business's strategy and creating innovation and leading and driving change through their Application architectural policies, working closely with key organisational stakeholders. You will also support the creation and implementation of department plans and ensure application quality is maintained through he integration architectures and policies. 

You will likely to have worked in a similar role for an Enterprise based organisation with a record of leading the functional and technical design on large and complex projects. With strong Applications and systems development experience, you will have excellent skills in business process modelling, solutions design and requirements gathering and have the record of planning and delivering workshops. 

You will be technically interested in the latest trends and have experience of recommending and implementing your Application Architectural solutions. You should have a good knowledge of CASE and MIS tools, and of building and demonstrating functional prototypes
