Data Architect  - eCommerce / retail / web - nr Blackburn, North Manchester

Data Architect sought by this highly successful eCommerce retail organisation, to help in their business systems transformation programme in creating a highly innovative IT Data strategy and architectural road map. Working on leading a team driving through new and emergent Data based technologies, this is an excellent opportunity to really make a difference, working alongside key organisational stakeholders and experienced IT teams 

Accountabilities include leading the creation and development of the business's strategy and creating innovation and leading and driving change through their Data architectural policies, working closely with key organisational stakeholders. You will also support the creation and implementation of department plans and work with internal planning teams on budgeting and costing

You will likely to have worked in a similar role for an Enterprise based organisation with at least 5 years experience of Data Management, from a Management Information or Master Data perspective, across multiple projects. You will demonstrate experience in Data modelling and requirements gathering, strong systems development and an ability to devise Data centric architectural plans, supporting overall business strategies. 

With strong Data and systems development experience, you will have excellent skills in business process modelling, solutions design and requirements gathering and have the record of planning and delivering workshops. 

You will be technically interested in the latest trends and have experience of recommending and implementing your Data solutions. You should have a good knowledge of CASE and MIS tools, such as Data Services, Data Warehouse and Dimensional modelling
