Graduate Penetration Tester (Internet Security) - (Linux, Unix, Python, Java, TCP/IP, etc) - Manchester City Centre

Penetration Tester / Internet security specialist with a deep interest in pen testing and knowledge of TCP/IP, IP, Unix, Linux, Python or Perl scripting skills, etc sought by this specialist software services company, leading the field in the market of Internet security assessment services.

Working on pen testing web-based products and networks and vulnerability assessment activities and developing new security tests, you will have a real interest in Internet security / penetration/web testing and will use a real mix of development tools, including Python, Perl and Java. You will have a solid understanding of operating systems (ideally Linux / UNIX), with knowledge of networking, TCP/IP and layered protocols.

Any practical knowledge of vulnerabilities and security tools (Nessus, nmap, etc) would be very useful, as would an all round interest in Internet diagnostic tools.

This is an excellent technical and career role for a Pen Testing enthusiast and will suit either an ambitious junior or graduate with or without commercial experience or an experienced security professional seeking their next role.
