Part Time Lead Designer (RL7505) York, England

Castle Business Support division in York are looking for a Lead Designer to join a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier based in Pocklington to cover maternity leave.
Some of the duties which this Designer position may consist of are;
- To design and assist a small sample room with clothing and accessories
- Preparation of drawings and making patterns
- Have a good knowledge of bills of materials
- Leading the sewing room and managing the team
The successful Lead Designer will have the following skills and experience;
- Have a degree in a design related subject
- Have experience leading a team
- Have your own transport due to the location
This is a long term temporary contract to cover maternity leave working part time Monday to Friday. Our client is looking for someone 3-4 days a week and is happy to be flexible on which days and hours. This could potentially go to full time in the future, with higher workloads. This is earning a salary of £20,000-£22,000 pro rata depending on experience.
