We are recruiting for an experienced Software Tester to product and run testing plans for a large company based on the outskirts of York.

Some of the roles and responsibilities for this Software Tester will be;

• Create and maintain test diagrams and cases from set specifications
• Test planning, estimation and design
• Bug tracking and reporting
• Testing application programming interfaces (API’s)
• Use of automated test tools such as Webdriver or Selenium
• Systems, integration, regression and UAT testing
• Querying databases to identify test data or isolate the cause of issues
• Logging defects and writing detailed bug reports and participating in root cause analysis
• Implement a robust testing approach within development cycles that provide an effective level of assurance before regular releases

We would be keen to speak with anyone who has had 2+ years of experience working within Software Testing.

This permanent position will be working full time Monday to Friday earning a salary of £30,000 per annum, with the potential to rise with additional training and experience.
