Castle Business Support Division in York are recruiting for a Technical SEO Specialist to join a continuously expanding, award winning company in Harrogate.

Some of the roles and responsibilities will consist of;

• Keeping track of any SEO developments, industry changes and tools to bring the most up-to-date SEO service to the company
• Building systems and protocols internally that ensure all content is optimised across all platforms and user experiences (websites, mobile, social, video, blogs, etc)
• Production of high-quality back-links due to the creation of genuine and engaging content generated from in-house or from external locations
• To carry annual SEO audit for company’s websites on a regular scheduled basis to ensure that every page of each company’s websites has a defined purpose
• Manage SEO position and improve SEO status for company websites
• Site-maps building and effective use of Meta information and mark ups
• Optimising existing PPC campaigns (Google, Bing, Yahoo) and subsequent monitoring and analysis of each of these campaigns
• Reporting - Campaign wrap-ups about traffic, link, ranking and revenue analysis/ Calculation of ROI
• Have an excellent understanding of the power of organic rankings to business goals by comprehending the bigger picture

The successful candidates must have the following skills and experience;

• Knowledge of the relationships and differences between the various search engines
• In-depth technical knowledge of SEO techniques and Google AdWords management
• Relevant experience in the digital/​Internet marketplace
• Ability to clearly communicate and express ideas and proposals
• Excellent understanding of PPC advertising
• Experience of working within a team developing and redesigning websites
• Experience of risk managing an existing SEO position and understanding of complex SEO solutions
• Knowledge of other key SEO platforms such as Hotjar and Screaming Frog

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday earning a salary of £40,000 per year plus excellent company benefits such as free on-site parking, up to 33 days holiday per year, free hot drinks, and flexi time just to name a few.

You must have a full UK driving licence and your own transport due to the location.
