Castle Business Support Division in York have an exciting opportunity to recruit an Information Security Officer for a client based in York.
Some of the duties of this hands-on role will consist of;
- Ensure that every customers data is protected and only used in ways necessary according to data protection laws
- Work with users to influence and drive the implementations of security standards
- Drive continuous improvement
- Ensure all data protection policies and procedures are adhered to
- Raise awareness within the company about information security and the new data protection laws
The ideal candidate will be confident with the following requirements;
- Have an excellent eye for detail
- Be a strong performer
- Have an excellent understanding of the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
This will be working full time Monday to Friday 9am-5pm earning a salary of at or around £31,000 per annum.
