Responsibilities - Working from shcematics, drawings, source code, design journals, product specifications, and with other design engineers. Identifying alternate components that will meet the product requirements for form, fit & function. Documenting and executing test plans to validate the product. Partricipating in design reviews and contributing Design for test (DFT) & Design for Manufacturability (DFM) design improvements. Developing the test fixture for the product using CAD (Orcad) schematic capture, board layout tools, and mechanical design tools.
Education - Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering. Experience - 2-5 yrs Electronics design & assembly experience. 2-5 yrs software Development (inC#, C++, C or Java), within past 5 years. Mechanical assembly , soldering, and strong troubleshooting skills. Memonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
