The firm

I am currently working with an international professional services firm who are in an exciting period of growth. They are in the market for a new Staffing/Resourcing Manager to join their well-established and incredibly well-respected team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone coming from a structured staffing/resourcing environment to join a firm on an incredible journey.

The role

This person will have responsibility for the resourcing/staffing of a specific population, comprising of ranging seniorities and spanning offices across Europe. Weekly meetings with stakeholders are required to establish credibility and this person will be seen as the subject matter expert regarding the deployment of staff onto projects.

The role itself requires an operational, hands-on approach, often up against tight deadlines, but this person will also be expected to strategically advise the business on future capacities.

Team management will be part of this role so an interest and enthusiasm for mentoring others is required.

Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have experience of staffing/resourcing/workforce planning. Unfortunately, candidates who possess purely recruitment experience will not be progressed further.

This person should ideally have worked in a professional services environment and be able to evidence excellent internal relationships. You should also have the ability to work under pressure and be confident dealing with senior members of the business. Resourcing/Staffing requires confidence in negotiation, prioritisation and flexibility.
