About the company:
Our client is an alternative investment management firm that manages hedge funds, structured investment and distressed investment funds. The firm invests in global public equity, fixed income and hedging markets with a focus on leveraged loans, high yield bonds, and structured products.
Responsibilities:

Due diligence on the firm’s investment ideas, including fundamental credit analysis

Communicate extensively with firm’s credit committee members, analysts, and portfolio managers to identify new opportunities and risks

Responsible for developing investment recommendations

Benchmarking analysis, valuation analysis, and industry research

Interact with investment bank brokers/bankers/analysts and industry experts

Coordinate with senior members of the investment staff on various aspects of investment analysis and portfolio management
Who we are looking for:
The qualifications for the Finance Recruiter include:
• Undergraduate degree • MBA from a top business/finance focused university is highly preferred
• Professional Certifications (CFA, CPA, CMA) are strongly preferred
• 2-6 years post-undergrad experience at a bulge bracket investment firm within M&A buy-side/sell-side
• Prior credit analysis experience is desired
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, outstanding modelling skills and solid business judgment skills
