JOB TITLE: Senior Recruitment Consultant – (All divisions), Recruitment Consultant (All divisions), Resourcer

Are you a Senior Consultant, Consultant or Resourcer with a minimum of 12 months experience in either the Rail, Construction or Engineering recruitment markets and are you ready for your next career move? If so, the DCS Group has a number of exciting opportunities based at our Head Office in Manchester City Centre.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Drive to Achieve

• To achieve all annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly financial targets laid out by the business
• Understand that the role is fast paced and target driven
• Understand the DCS Group to be able to optimise all opportunities and promote the services of the DCS Group and all its subsidiaries
• Develop a daily and weekly structure to ensure targets are met or exceeded
• Gain commitment from clients through regular sales calls and visits
• Ensure that high levels of customer service (to both clients and candidates) are achieved at all times

Winning the Business

• Introduce DCS Recruitment to prospective clients and maintain contact with existing clients in line with weekly, monthly and yearly targets and KPI’s
• Build and collate a candidate database in line with the assigned vertical market ensuring that all weekly, monthly and yearly KPI’s are adhered to
• Develop client relationships to enable DCS to become a preferred supplier of recruitment services while maintaining a competitive margin based on performance and service offering
• Interview candidates to assess qualifications, skills, previous employment and availability – match to suitable vacancies/assignments. If no suitable vacancy /assignment exists, contact clients in an endeavour to obtain a suitable role
• Arrange and attend visits to existing and prospective clients
• Keep in close contact with existing clients to keep abreast of their needs and promote DCS as a preferred supplier by developing strong client relationships.
• Generate leads from all possible sources including networking
• Obtain full details of all vacancies/assignments and understand all of the clients requirements
• Present candidate details to client and arrange interview, where appropriate
• Keep up to date on competitor activity and developments in the market
• Negotiate with clients resulting in a positive revenue stream for the business
• Provide candidates with comprehensive information and instructions on the client to include client address, website, project and business information as part of the interview process
• Continually check with our clients to ensure the placements are satisfactory as well as following up on future opportunities
• Ensure every contractor is satisfactory by means of verbal and written checks

Relationship Building

• Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with all clients and candidates. Maintain high level of customer service at all times
• Develop a detailed knowledge of the nature and culture of all clients businesses
• Work closely with colleagues to achieve the objectives/targets of the branch
• Maintain regular contact with candidates to continually assess their needs, establish their availability, give feedback on their performance and actively seek suitable work for them to ensure a quality service is provided
• Where appropriate mentor and develop other consultants in the branch or in the same vertical markets

Organisational Skills

• Keep accurate and detailed records of clients, candidates and orders in accordance with DCS’s Quality System to ensure clients are invoiced accurately
• Plan set periods to focus solely on new business sales calls
• Plan client visits in advance at a mutually convenient time
• Plan set periods for interviewing new candidates
• Ensure that all clients are in possession of the Company’s Terms and Conditions
• Take up the appropriate references on all candidates in line with the requirements
• Collate and maintain all client information to ensure correct invoicing, including company registration numbers
• Ensure all contractors submit timesheets in accordance to the schedule
• Provide client management information as requested
• Ensure adherence to the company policies and procedures including company Health and Safety policies, guidelines and legislation

• Ensure that all staff provide every candidate an experience that is positive and rewarding in order to encourage them to continue to use DCS as a route to future assignments and possible employment
• Ensure that all staff provide every client an experience that is positive and rewarding in order to encourage them to continue to work with DCS as a solution to their recruitment needs

• Attend all relevant training courses as required, residential or otherwise to improve both personal and branch performance
