A family owned RC Frame, civil & groundworks sub contractor who have been established for nearly 50yrs. They have an excellent reputation in their field, and specialise in civil & groundworks packages raining in value from £500k to £10m. They have long standing relationships with clients in the South East Region, and enjoy repeat business from them due to the quality of service they provide to their clients.
About the Role
You will join as a Setting Out Engineer and work on civil & groundworks packages across the Kent area. You will be responsible for Setting out foundations, kerbs, roads and sewers. You will liaise with Site Managers and Contracts Managers and assist with some management when required. Typical schemes range in value from £100k to £5m and are predominantly on residential developments. If you have your own kit this will be reflected in a better day rate but kit can be provided if needed.
What you need to Succeed
You will have a minimum of 5yrs experience working as a setting out engineer and will have worked for civil engineering or groundworks sub contractors. You will be educated to HNC or Degree level, and have a proven track record of accurate setting out works. CSCS Cards are essential and SMSTS is advantageous.
