DT Teachers, KS3 and KS4 needed for September starts - Scarborough and surrounding areas.
Due to an increase in demand, Castle Education are seeking to recruit qualified DT teachers (All Specialisms) for our outstanding pool of supply teachers for September. We are looking for passionate individuals with a dedicated and innovative approach to teaching DT to Key stage 4, on a temporary/supply basis.
As a Design Technology specialist, you would be promoting and developing attainment in this essential life skill. Supply teaching is a unique opportunity to work in a number of different environments and will help to find the right school and environment to best support your next career move, should a permanent role be your ultimate goal. You also have the flexibility to only work on the days that suit you. We are looking for strong subject specialists to promote KS3 and KS4 DT.
The role requires some excellent subject knowledge and vocational experience including;
- A Relevant Degree in your specialism.
- Relevant Professional qualifications, including a relevant teaching qualification including QTS, although NQT's are also welcome and encouraged to apply.
- Current DBS on the update service, or willing to gain one through Castle Education
- Demonstrable experience teaching DT to KS4.
