Teaching Assistant - Primary School (BK3122) Scarborough, England
Castle Education are recruiting for experienced Teaching Assistants, who are looking for immediate temporary and long term work in primary schools within the local area.
We are currently working with a number of primary schools in Scarborough and the surrounding areas. The Teaching Assistants are required to work one-to-one with pupils and provide general classroom assistance. For the one-to-one work, previous experience working with students with SEN would be beneficial.
To be considered you will be able to demonstrate your passion for working as a Teaching Assistant, as well as having the necessary skills to carry out the role effectively. You must be eligible to work in the UK and placement will be subject to obtaining an enhanced DBS.
Key skills required to be successful in this role include:
- Flexibility - things can happen unexpectedly and you need to be able to cope with change
- The ability to assist managing classes and deal with challenging behaviour
- Patience and understanding
- To be able to use your own initiative
- Tact and sensitivity
