Castle Education have work available for Teaching Assistants with SEN 1-2-1 and Behaviour experience.
The teaching assistant roles are based within various North Yorkshire schools and we have both part-time and full-time options available on a day to day and long term supply basis.
Essential Requirements of the role:
> GTA, ATA or HLTA qualifications
> Experience of one to one support within an Education setting
> Experience working with children with SEN or EBD
> Safeguarding qualifications
> Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service (Or Willing to gain one through Castle Education)
I am keen to talk to any experienced teaching assistants or NQT's looking for a role for September.
The role of a teaching assistant will require patience and perseverance to support children within their studies who may have issues with behaviour or other special educational needs. You must be an effective communicator and ultimately you need to be resilient and adaptable to respond to challenges if required.
