Faculty Leader of English required for a September start - Permanent.
L4 to L12 pay scale
Castle Education are currently working with a popular secondary school based in North Yorkshire to appoint a permanent department head to lead their English department to successfully ensure sustained improvement occurs in the quality of teaching and learning in this subject area whilst providing an outstanding education for the children.
The successful applicant will have a desire to raise the profile of the English department and will be responsible for the leadership and the management of the team, ensuring that attainment is either good or outstanding in this curriculum area and ensuring students make strong progress. The successful applicant will ensure that the curriculum team is well led and that colleagues are developed as professionals.
