Teaching assistant - Early Years - Immediate or Jan 2019 start
Due to an increase in demand within the local schools, Castle Education are looking to recruit experienced EYFS TA's for our outstanding pool of supply staff. Castle Education are working with the majority of local primary schools in Scarborough and surrounding areas, due to our exceptional service levels and commitment to finding the right candidate for the right role. Because of this, we now have a need for additional TA's for day to day and long term supply positions, preferably with experience within the Early years Foundation stage.
Supply teaching is a fantastic way to gain experience within the local schools and to get to know different school ethos's and environments. It is also a great opportunity for flexible working, to work on the days that you choose.
To be considered for this our outstanding pool of supply, you must have the following :-
> Current DBS on the update service (Or willing to gain one through Castle Education)
> Minimum level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
> Classroom experience as a TA or similar, preferably within the EYFS environment
> Enthusiasm and commitment to working with pupils of different backgrounds and abilities
> flexibility and adaptability to work in different environments, often at short notice, an ability to think on your feet and a " can do" attitude.
