School Inclusion coordinator - North Yorkshire
Castle Education are working in partnership with an outstanding secondary school in North Yorkshire, to appoint a permanent school inclusion coordinator to provide pastoral support and to promote positive attitudes to learning and behaviour. You will work with a supportive team made up of the assistant headteacher, pastoral team and a very able team of teachers and teaching assistants to maximise achievement and well being of the students. In addition to this you will be required to monitor and report on the progress of students with alternative provisions.
The ideal candidate will possess the following :-
> Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in numeracy and literacy
> MIN Level 3 qualification relating to education
> First aid qualification
> Significant experience of working with children, young people, parents and families, preferably within an educational context
> Experience of liaising and building relations with internal and external partners in a school environment
> Commitment to the highest standards of child protection
> The desire to evolve in the ever changing landscape of education and have the commitment to improve educational experience for our learners
