HR Business Partner

HR Business Partner (VC5576) North Yorkshire, England

Our client is a well established and highly successful manufacturing business part of a large global group. They currently have an opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner / HR Manager, ideally from a large-scale manufacturing and / or logistics environment.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of HR and work closely with the site management team  You will be responsible for providing HR advice, support and guidance to line managers and employees on a full range of generalist HR issues ranging from disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence management, recruitment and retention, and restructuring. 

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on a number of exciting projects, including setting up an apprenticeship programme, an engagement programme and delivering HR training to up skill line managers.

Ideally, we are looking for an experienced HR Generalist with experience of working in a busy, fast-paced large manufacturing / logistics environment.  You will have a strong understanding of ER and up to date knowledge of employment law.  You will also be able to demonstrate first-class communication and influencing skills with the ability to manage the operational and commercial needs of the business without compromising the people focus of the HR plan.
