Our client, a highly regarded and well established organisation, has an opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Advisor / HR Business Partner to partner with designated senior managers to provide HR support in all aspects of people resource planning and management.

The successful candidate will regularly meet with the designated senior managers to ensure that people Resourcing plans are aligned with the Business plan for the relevant areas and reflect the overall plan for the Group.
You will also work with the Director of HR and HR colleagues in developing the HR strategy and annual
implementation plan, assist in the review, development, consultation and implementation of HR policies, procedures and processes, including manager and staff briefings and training.
Additionally, you will lead on the delegated HR functional agenda, benchmarking best practise, developing the Group
approach, updating HR colleagues and leading on implementation.

Other responsibilities will include planning Resourcing, departmental structures, recruitment and change programmes; supporting the business planning process and working with HR colleagues to ensure a coherent
approach across the Group; ensuring robust performance management is in place; providing support and advice on a range of HR related issues and advise of associated risk; develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with partners, colleagues and union representatives, establishing professional credibility.
Working with the HR/management colleagues developing HR practice on a delegated functional area:
Build a robust plan to deliver significant projects/work programmes
Benchmark external best practice, within and outside the sector.
Network and share resources where appropriate.
Engage HR and line colleagues in the development/planning process where appropriate
Develop a communications and training programme 
Work with the team to develop best practice HR policies and procedures, management tool kits and
provide management training on policies and procedures and processes as required.
Advise managers on basic employment law, company policies and procedures.
Support the Managers on casework, including absence management, performance management,
disciplinaries and grievances ensuring legislation, policy/procedures and best practice are followed.

To be considered for this opportunity you should be degree and CIPD, qualified, with a solid understanding of current employment law and associated risk and up to date knowledge of latest developments in the HR arena and employment legislation.
Additionally, you will possess a strong background in employee relations, developing policies and procedures, have experience of mentoring managers, experience of delivering HR related training and possess excellent organisational, influencing, communication and negotiation skills.
