Castle Human Resources division are working exclusively with one of the East Coast's most sought after businesses to recruit a HR Business Partner.

Reporting to the Head of HR, the role will be responsible for providing a professional and competent HR support service to the Company, ensuring that all data provided is accurate & timely. The successful candidate will ensure that all HR policies and procedures are implemented by all areas of the business to ensure consistency, and to supervise the HR team in the absence of the Head of HR.

Main Tasks / Responsibilities of Role:
• To partner with stakeholders to optimise Business needs and HR Best Practice
• Employee Relations; leading disciplinary & grievance investigations and supporting Managers to deliver
• Building relationships with key stakeholders and coaching Line Managers
• Undertaking ad-hoc projects including, but not limited to; recruitment, absence management, employee engagement and any new project initiatives
• Responsible for employee lifecycle process from recruitment to retirement 
• Implementing Change Management including restructuring projects
• Manage company attendance management processes and OH provider
• Analyse, prepare and produce management information reports & HR presentations as required by HR and business needs
• To provide professional advice to all managers and supervisors on HR and employment legislation issues and to ensure that all issues are closed out appropriately.
• To fully comply with all ISO and HR system procedures
• Liaise with Trades Union as required to ensure policies and procedures are applied and implemented as necessary
• To take responsibility for dealing with any Case Management and ad-hoc HR queries
• To assist in the management of employee terms and conditions including pension
• To provide a generalist HR service to the management team and employees
• To challenge, coach and provide a professional advice to all Line Managers on HR and employment legislation issues and to ensure that all issues are resolved effectively
• Take responsibility for ensuring that headcount levels are maintained at appropriate level within budget and that accurate schedules and reports are provided as required
• Develop/implement and maintain HR policies and procedures which meet legislative requirements, whilst also ensuring employees are treated fairly and consistently
• Responsible for managing HR process and policy updates via internal Quality systems
• Meet KPIs as reviewed and agreed on an weekly, monthly and annual basis
• Any other duties as defined/required

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with previous experience gained working at HR Advisor / Senior HR Advisor level within a fast-paced business.  In summary we are looking for candidates with the following experience:

• Microsoft office proficient including excel, HR systems knowledge
• Candidates should possess formal HR Qualifications, preferably to Grad CIPD or beyond.
