HR Advisor (6 Month FTC)

Location:  Invergordon, Scotland
Salary:  GBP0 - GBP31000 per annum + DOE


Full or Part Time Hours Can Be Considered Depending on Preference

 

Escape Recruitment Services are recruiting for an HR Advisor within the Manufacturing sector. You will be supporting the HR team on delivering generalist HR services to managers and employees within the organisation. The role will be for 6 months fixed term contract basis.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting management on HR issues
  • Give advice on HR best practice on issues such as employee relations, sickness, absence, health and safety
  • Be first point of contact for managers and employees
  • Manage all recruitment administration including selection, liaising with recruitment agencies, contacts, references and system updates
  • New employee start administration including induction
  • Full spectrum of absence management
  • Take notes and support with disciplinary grievances
  • Deal with all admin for the benefits for employees
  • Responsible for employee engagement projects
  • Maintain, generate and update HR reports accurately
  • Maintain the HR database
  • Raise purchase orders for the HR department
  • Assist with ad-hoc work

 Candidates must have the following background and skills:

  • CIPD qualified ideally to Level 5 but candidates actively working towards this and qualified by experience will also be considered
  • Previous experience of working at HR Advisor level, within a varied generalist role
  • Able to demonstrate of relevant experience around Employee Relations which should include disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance management
  • Comfortable working independently and use initiative to complete tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ideally candidates will have previous experience in a relevant industry which would include Manufacturing, FMCG, Supply Chain, Distribution, Food & Drink
  • Confident IT skills which should include MS Office and HR systems
