Data Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Data Analyst for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC. The Data Analyst will develop standards/procedures for data management in support of overall adherence and to ensure best practices. He or she will produce and report Data Management Metrics Dashboard to enable leadership monitoring of the health of key activities, as well as manage, report, and facilitate prioritization on all requests for business partners. The tools should allow managers at all levels to easily monitor and report on data management issues and the overall health of the data management program. Tools should be able to quickly alert key stakeholder of potential risks and/or issues. The reporting solutions will be used to identify trends and opportunities to improve operational performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide status updates to stakeholders and ensure adherence to the Request Process
  • Create, monitor and communicate governance metrics
  • Develop automation tools for metrics dashboard through the use of BI tools
  • Effectively communicate metrics to stakeholders
  • Design, create and maintain reports based on requirements from stakeholders
  • Provide subject matter expertise for support of assigned reporting solution
  • Provide triage of data related issues as applicable
  • Investigation of root cause analysis and assistance in developing corrective action
  • Will work closely with business partners and development teams

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills that can interpret complex data into meaningful metrics
  • Experience with BI tools (ex. Tableau)
  • Experience with programming languages (SQL, Perl, etc)
  • 5-7 years within a reporting environment
  • Advanced MS Excel and MS Access skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and prioritize effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Metric experience
  • Problem management

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Analyzing and reporting financial data
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Word)
  • Experience in data management
  • Ability to multitask and work with team members in varying positions across the Program (peers and senior leadership)
