Process and/or research vendor invoices. Contact with vendors in resolving open items. Review and enter employee expense reports. Educate employees in the proper way of completing an expense report/ensuring that company policy is followed. Heavy contact with employees via phone and e-mail. Needs good communication skills. Open mail/filing/mail checks/projects as assigned by upper management
As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by: Processing and analyzing moderately complex accounting/finance information, records, or transactions Interpreting and analyzing accounting and/or financial transactions to establish appropriate outcome or resolution Scheduling and prioritizing your own work under limited supervision Conferring with staff, company management, and third parties on moderately complex questions or issues involving accounting or financial records, transactions or processes Utilizing on-line financial computer systems as well as PC-based computer systems Assisting in informing, training or advising less senior accounting or finance staff Developing interoffice or outgoing correspondence of a routine nature with limited supervision Maintaining a detailed working knowledge of various accounting or financial subjects and procedures Assisting in identifying new or improved methods or procedures in your own field of work
7 -9 years of related experience. High School diploma or its equivalent.
