WATER HYGIENE ENGINEER £25k-£28k + OVERTIME + COMPANY VAN + BENEFITS

My Client is a specialist in all aspects of water treatment. They currently have an excellent opportunity for a Water Treatment/Hygiene Engineer.
The role will involve:
Visiting customers sites to carry out collection of microbiological/chemical samples for laboratory analysis to ensure compliance with current legislation
Carrying out temperature monitoring of hot and cold water systems
Have experience in the testing of open and closed water circuits and steam boilers
Completing service reports
Filling outsite logbooks and keep logbooks up to date
Assisting with cleaning and disinfection of water tanks, cooling systems and descaling calorifiers
Assisting with cleaning and flushing of closed heating/chilled systems
Descaling / disinfecting showerheads/water outlets
Inspecting cold water storage tanks
Assisting with remedial works
The applicant should: -
Have an elemental knowledge of biology and chemistry or environmental sciences
Be practically minded
Be able to work in a team
Be self-managing and have the ability to work to specific deadlines, as required
Be self-motivated and self-disciplined
Be able to travel and work away from home as the situation requires
Full UK driving licence essential
The job is based primarily in the south-east and home counties but may involve travel UK-wide

Holiday entitlement - 21 days + statutory days
Salary (depending upon experience): negotiable - typically 25-28K + OT
